Lakshmi Stuti is a prayer for Lakshmi, the Hindu goddess of wealth and prosperity. Believed to be authored by Indra, The prayer is found in ancient scriptures from Sanatana Dharma. Once due to a curse of a sage Durvasa, Lord Indra lost all his wealth. Then he recited this prayer addressed to Mahalakshmi, the goddess of wealth. She appeared before him and gave him back all his wealth.
