India’s Dr. Krutibas Nayak is a writer. In Oriya, he produces essays, poems, short tales, and novels. He is a well-known literary figure in Oriya. Nayak has made a name for himself in the children’s literature industry. He is well-known across the country and has won numerous awards at the state and federal levels.
In 1955, Nayak was born in the Rajkanika district of Odisha, India, in the east coast village of Ektala. He was raised in Southern Orissa and attended Berhampur University to earn his literary degree. In 1992, Nayak received his doctorate in children’s literature with his thesis, Oriya Shishu Galpara Swaroop O Vikash.He edited children’s magazines in Odia called Shishu Nayan, Ame Shishu, and Shishu Raija in the 1980.
