The opening of Srl Kalicharan Patnayak’s latest historical play ‘Abhijan’ was held last night in the Orissa Theatres Pendal. Governor of Orissa, Lady Trivedy, the Hon’ble Sri Harekrushna Mahatab, the Hon’ble Sri Nabakrushna Chaudhury, the Hon’ble Nityananda Kanango were present in the distinguished gathering. The subject of the play was the Kanchi expedition of Purusottam Dev and its romantic background,Sri Patnayak’s position as the foremost Oriya play writer is undisputed.
