    Odia Magazine Asha was a monthly religious and literary magazine published in the year 1888 was managed by Bramhasamaja. Sadhu Charan Ray and Madhusudan Rao were the editors of this magazine during 1888-90. Reba Ray was the proofreader during the In second stage (1892-99) of its distribution. It carreied articles on ladies’ schooling and strengthening as well as on the family values connecting with mother and kid. Articles on cooking were distributed routinely. In general Asha was the main Odia magazine addressed to ladies’ life and to be altered by a lady.
