Ramachandra Mishra, well known by his pen name Faturananda, was an Indian humorist and satirist who wrote in the Odia language from 1 June 1915 until 6 November 1995. The Sarasa Sahitya Samiti, an organisation dedicated to literature, was founded by him. In honour of Laxmikanta Mohapatra, Mishra created the “Kantakabi Prize.” His early years were marked by hardship, which serves as the main theme of his book Mo phuta dangara kahani. Mishra favoured using the pen name “Faturananda” for all of his writing. His works like Nakata Chitrakar (1953) and Sahi Mahabharat are well-known.
