These poems, which were written in Odia around the time of the 10th century CE by Bhuddhist monks, are regarded as some of the first examples of the language. Linguists studying the history of the language have found them to be of great significance. So, everyone with an interest in Odia or Odisha should at least give it a quick check. Soon, a straightforward translation of these poems into modern Odia will be added here.
