Subhas Chandra Bose was an Indian nationalist whose resistance of British rule in India made him a hero among many Indians, but his affiliations with Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan during the Second World War left a legacy troubled by authoritarianism, anti-Semitism, and military failure. Early in 1942, German and Indian officials in the Special Bureau for India in Berlin and Indian soldiers of the Indische Legion addressed Bose as Netaji for the first time. It is presently utilised all throughout India.

The most well-known liberation fighter, Subhas Chandra Bose possessed exceptional leadership qualities and was a captivating orator. His catchphrases include “Delhi Chalo,” “tum mujhe khoon do,” and “main tumhe aazadi dunga.” Azad Hind Fauj was created by him.
