Kishori Charan Das was raised in Cuttack after being born at Khatbin Sahi in 1924. He held the positions of Additional Deputy Comptroller and Auditor General of India as well as Director of Audit for the Indian Accounts in Washington, D.C., from 1961 to 1964.
