At Binika in the Sonepur District, Bhagirathi Nepak was born to the late Sadanand Nepak and the late Shreemati Devi.However, his family later relocated to the Subarnapur district’s Lachhipur village. He joined the Government of Odisha as an auditor after earning his philosophy degree from Gangadhar Meher College in Sambalpur. When he was in school, he began using the “Kau O Koili” for his writing.
More than 229 of his works—including 34 novels, three poetry collections, numerous biographies, works for children, and short plays—have been published to date. For popularising Satya Mahima Dharma, he is remembered.
