This Upahara magazine was published on 1934. By behalf of the Bamanda Primary and Secondary Teachers Association.Issues were named after the seasonal festivals as Bijaya, Bakula, Asoka, Gundicha etc. Sadhucharan Jagadeb was its editor. Other main contributors were Satyabadi Hota, Ramachandra Misra, Madhusudan Misra, Brajamohan Pani, Padmabati Nayak, Anant Charan Mohanty, Jalandhar Deb. Baruni Magazine was Published in 1926 from Cuttack . It was edited by Rajkishore Das. It was a different type of magazine having literary pieces and informative features. Illustrated science articles in the magazine were quite attractively presented. It was published only for one year with five issues. The issues were named after the seasons as Basanta, Nidagha, Asara, Sarata and Hemanta. Panchamruta magazine is a Children’s magazine edited by Chintamani Acharjya and Agani Das. It was Published in 1921. First as a quarterly, then as a monthly. The Indradhanu was launched in 1893 as a literary journal almost entirely devoted to the study of upendra Bhanja. Attempt was made to print the early issues on coloured paper – each issue being in one of the seven colours of the rainbow. The magazine had declared itself to be a publication of irregular periodicity like the rainbow and carried articles in support of the classical literature, particulaly the writings of Upendra Bhanja.
