After Sita was Gone, Lord Rama Ruled for 11,000 years,and when his time for departure came, he left the mortal world by taking a dip in River Sarayu, transforming to his original form of Vishnu and departed to Vaikunta, his eternal abode.
Lava and Kusha went northwords and found two cities- namely (Lahore -Pakistan) since it was found by Lava, and Kasur since Kusha founded it. There is also a temple associated with Lava in Shahi Qila in Lahore Current Pakistan.
Kusha married a Naga Princess “Kumudatti” sister of Kumuda and held sway over dakshina kosala, corresponds to current day Chattisgarh.
The Puranas provide Genealogical list from Kusha to Brihadbala who was killed by Abhimanyu in Mahabharatha War, the list is corroborated by the Raghuvamsha till Agnivarna.
The Puranas also provide the list of kings from Brihadbala till the last ruler of Ikshvaku dynasty Sumitra.
The Ikshvakus were a coveted line, in the fourth century BC,emperor Maha Padmananda of Nanda Dynasty forced Sumitra to leave Ayodhya,he went to Rohtas with his sons,after Sumitra the dynasty of Sun god is said to end.
