It was published in 1928, Samabayaprava was edited by Brajabandhu Tripathy. It was a monthly magazine carrying articles on religion, agriculture, commerce, science, history, philosophy, health, education and social reforms. The writings were in varied forms including essays, poems, stories etc. Madan Mohan Pattnaik, Laxmi Narayan Sahoo, Ananta Padmanav Pattnaik were its main writers.
