Odia magazine Utkal Darpan has started its publication in 1873, a year after Baleswar Sambadabahika turned into a week after week. It began as a month to month scholarly magazine – the first in Quite a while language – however turned into a fortnightly paper in 1975. It halted distribution in 1885. Indraballav Vattacharya was its manager. The main articles of Radhanath Roy was distributed in it. Its main job was to make numerous new scholars.
