Sacchi Routray is different came to know the poet through the collection of his poems Kavita-1962,Sahitya Akademi Award wirining anthology. The poems, some of which | have rendered into English end which heve been published in different Indian Journals, are considered milestones in modern Oriya Pootry because of thematic and technical innovations.

With added touches and second thoughts I’ve tried to retein the beauty and,will make thisflavour of the original, which bel attempt acceptable to scholars and lovers of poetry.
